Job Description

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Representative with excellent interpersonal skills to maintain existing customers portfolio whilst actively developing new prospects and opportunities to grow the fuel and lubricants business across the different B2B segments: Marine, Power, Industry and Construction.

Principal Accountabilities:

The Sales Representative will:

  • Develop and maximize Revenue and C3 Margin through competitive pricing and customer relationship management, minimize Overdue and DSO for new and existing direct customers in line with Group HSSE policy and Business Principles.
  • Achieve the Commercial sales targets on volume, margin and EBITDA for the business. Plan, monitor and achieve individual sales targets and be accountable for the overall customer group performance. (e.g. sales volume, margin, growth, tailor-made Customer Value - Proposition, timely payment recovery)
  • Maximize time visiting prospects and ensure genuine log into SAP C4C for all customer's sales activities. Follow up SPANCOP with the associated hit rate and churn rate
  • Have an in depth knowledge of the key competitors on the Market and understand their strengths and weaknesses. Identify and seize opportunities on the Market Assess and provide the current market situation in terms of Prices on a regular basis.
  • Signing sound contracts with target customers. Seek legal assistance and explicitly managing liability and all other local and international contractual issues. Timely update of contract and contract elements: Credit, rebates, pricing, payment terms etc
  • Accountable to debtor recovery and follow up on customer accounts: Monthly follow up of payment recovery and reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Prepare from end-to-end the tenders ranging from data gathering, action planning, pricing, stock and supply review, logistics, technical offerings, etc.)

Requirements


  • Master’s Degree preferably in Sales, Business Management, international Business, Marketing, Business Administration or any other related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Proven work experience in a similar environment as Sales Representative (B2B, B2C, Fuel, Lubricants)
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in B2B businesses
  • Experience of developing and implementing marketing and pricing strategies
  • Demonstrate experience in developing and negotiating long-term sales agreements
  • Commercial instinct and strong customer orientation
  • Good understanding in the use of sales tools and processes
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving skills
